The AC/GC Chargers girls basketball team ended their season Friday night.
The Chargers faced off against the Panorama Panthers in the semifinals of Class 2A Region 2. Things started a little slow, but the Chargers were able to keep a strong defense, and were down 9-6 at the end of the first quarter, and went into halftime down 26-14. Panorama seemed to change things up in the second half though, as AC/GC was outscored 18-10 in the third quarter, and 21-13 in the final quarter, for a final score of 65-37. The Chargers lose four seniors with the end of the season, with Emerson Van Meter, Kelsey Carlson, Reagan Carney and Macy Schreck finishing their careers on the court. The team ended the season with a 16-6 record, the best in program history.
