During the month of February, the Carnegie Library has been sifting through a history of biking and now the program enters the last full week.
The library has taken a journey through the process of biking from the beginning invention to the most modern bikes. The library illustrates that the exhibit features bikes, pictures, documents, memorabilia, and a timeline to follow along on a short history of a bicycle helmet. Also, participants receive a background history of the Bike Ride to Rippey (BRR) ride, which happens on the first Saturday of February.
The program is free and is available while the Carnegie Library is open. The last day of the program will be next Monday, February 26th. For more information, call the Perry Library at (515)-465-7713 or visit www.perry.lib.ia.us.
