Friday, February 16th

5:37am: A deputy assisted a motorist in the ditch in the 500 block of N Avenue.

6:27am: The Sheriff, a deputy, Jefferson Fire Department, and Greene County ambulance responded to a single vehicle accident on Neola Avenue near 310th Street. Whitney Case 37 of Dexter lost control of a 2007 Chevrolet Silverado and went into the west ditch. The truck entered a large culvert causing the truck to be totaled. The driver was transported by Greene County Ambulance to the Dallas County Hospital with suspected injuries. The airbags deployed in the truck and the driver was wearing a seatbelt.

9:26am: A deputy assisted with a medical call in the 800 block of Percival Street, Grand Junction.

9:27am: A deputy investigated a single vehicle rollover accident on W Avenue near 230th Street. Wendy Hopkins 49 of Rippey lost control of a 2011 Ford Edge and rolled it in the east ditch. The estimated damage to the vehicle was 6,000 dollars. The driver was taken to the Greene County Medical Center by private vehicle.

9:49am: A deputy investigated a single vehicle accident on S Avenue near 170th Street. David Wells of Paton lost control of a 2004 Chevrolet Silverado and entered the ditch striking a road sign. There was no damage to the truck.

10:40am: A deputy investigated a harassment complaint in the 400 block of East Paton Street, Paton.

8:15pm: A deputy assisted the Jefferson Police Department with the arrest of Michael Eastman 50 of Jefferson.

9:55pm: Michael Eastman 50 of Jefferson was booked into the jail for failure to appear, interference of official acts, and harassment 1st degree.

Saturday, February 17th

7:57am: A deputy investigated a car accident in the 1000 block of Main Street, Scranton. Jamie Theulen 27 of Scranton struck a parked 2013 Chrysler Town and County van. Theulen was driving a 2013 Ford F150. The estimated damage to the van was 2,500 dollars. The estimated damage to the truck is 2,000 dollars.

9:28am: A deputy investigated a property dispute in the 100 block of East Percival Street, Rippey.

11:37am: A deputy investigated an attempted burglary in the 400 block of North 16th Street, Grand Junction.

6:08pm: A deputy assisted a motorist at Henderson Park.

Sunday, February 18th

9:06am: A deputy conducted a traffic stop on Main Street and 12th Street, Grand Junction. Christopher Sowers 51 of Grand Junction was arrested for driving while barred.

10:15am: Christopher Sowers 51 of Grand Junction was booked into the jail for driving while barred.

2:50pm: A deputy conducted a traffic stop on 11th Street and Bennett Street, Grand Junction. Drug paraphernalia and a controlled substance was located in the vehicle. Charges are pending lab results.

10:09pm: A deputy investigated a driving complaint on 220th Street near L Avenue.

10:58pm: A deputy assisted the Jefferson Police Department with a traffic stop on North Olive Street and East Adams Street.

In all cases when a defendant has been charged, this is merely an accusation, and all defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
