
Two Perry wrestlers made the trip to Wells Fargo Arena last week. Kain Killmer performed the best as he earned fifth. Keegan Snyder was also there for the Bluejays. He finished at eighth.
Killmer wrestles at 190 where he went perfect the first two days of the event. On Friday, he fell into the consolation bracket after falling to the top seed. Once in the consolation brackets he went 1-1. He won his final match 8-1 by decision to take fifth place. Overall, Killmer went 2-2 across the four days.
Snyder won his first match of the tournament in his class of 215, but would fall into the consolation bracket on Thursday. He would work his way onto the podium after taking eighth place. Across the four days, Snyder went 2-3. In the seventh place match, he fell 7-4 by decision.
