National FFA Week is already underway and the Greene County Chapter still has lots going on.

Tuesday is the main highlight with a community trivia night at 6:30pm in the high school, near the learning stairs. The contest already has predetermined teams, with one team member required to be an FFA member, or an FFA alumni; and at least two adults and two students. There are four rounds with ten questions per round. The public is invited to this event.

Another evening activity is on Friday night with the Battle of the Chapters, where Greene County FFA’ers compete against other area FFA Chapters in a variety of games, including minute-to-win-it, trivia and a bags tournament.

Additionally, there are theme days as well. Monday is “Memory Monday” with FFA’ers sharing their favorite FFA memory on social media. The next day is “Teacher Tuesday” and FFA’ers are to share a photo of a teacher that has impacted their life. Then it is “Wisdom Wednesday” and FFA’ers are to share what they have learned through FFA. On Thursday, FFA’ers can make a post thanking FFA Sponsors for “Thankful Thursday.” “Future Friday” includes FFA members sharing their thoughts on how FFA has prepared them for the future. Finally, on Saturday it is “SAE Saturday” where FFA’ers can share their ideas for the Supervised Agricultural Experience.

Greene County FFA members are encouraged to share on social media for the different theme days with Instgram with @greenecountyffa and on Facebook greenecountyffaiowa.
