The Adel-DeSoto-Minburn Girls Basketball team will be under a new head coach next year as Jacob Cleveland resigns after six seasons with the program.
ADM Schools hired Cleveland in 2018 after coaching at Des Moines East from 2014 to 2017, then before that was an assistant at Waukee for seven years. In the debut year for Cleveland, ADM finished 15-9 overall (10-4 Raccoon Valley Conference) then followed that up with a 15-6 overall record in 2019-2020.
The last four years, the Tigers have been under .500, with the team finishing 7-15. ADM graduates two seniors from the team being Aubrey Winter and Cecelia Gardiner. Cleveland was kind enough to talk with Raccoon Valley Radio about the decision behind resigning and rejoicing in the time he did spend with the school. Listen to the full interview below.
The school is now in search of a new head coach for the ADM Girls Basketball team to begin the 2024-2025 season.
