The Guthrie County Board of Supervisors met in regular session Tuesday.

The Board separated the payroll reports from the consent items to discuss them further. They had questions on overtime hours, and all agreed they would like to know how those had been added up for the recent report. The Board then approved a petition to reclassify 233rd Lane in Section 7 South Cass Township to a service level “C” road.

Guthrie County Engineer Josh Sebern was available to talk about the section of road, mentioning it’s not traveled much by the public. A notice of a public hearing will be filed, and the hearing held before the road can formally be reclassified. The Board then entered a closed session to discuss litigation matters with the Guthrie County Attorney and Guthrie County Sheriff.
