The Stuart Public Library is Preparing for March, specifically one event.
Rachel Majerus with the Stuart Public Library says that the library started accepting book donations February 20th for their March Madness Book Sale. She tells Raccoon Valley Radio that if people would like to donate books for the sale, they’re more than welcome to.
“They can bring any used books that are in good condition, so we ask that they don’t have water damage or smoke damage. They can be kids books, adult books, and all they have to do is just come in and start dropping them off at the library.”
Majerus mentions that they will also accept new books that are donated for the sale as well. She adds that the sale is done to help clear out old books in the library, and that the proceeds from the sale will be used to help purchase new books to add to the shelves.
