Karagyn Whelchel connects on a jump shot.
Today we’re spotlighting Karagyn Whelchel. She was only able to play in 7 games her freshman year, but as a sophomore her role was expanded. Karagyn started all 22 games this year.
Whelchel had her best game of the season on night number one where she scored 20 points. Perry was able to get the win 47-43 thanks to her big performance. 20 points would be a season high for any Jayette.
She would finish with 7.7 ppg, 3.6 rpg, and 2.0 apg.
