The Stuart Chamber of Commerce has a new president for the 2024 calendar year.

Emerald Benefits Owner Paige Witte says she took on the position because she believes that there is a movement of growth in Stuart for both the businesses and the community, and she wanted to be a part of it. She tells Raccoon Valley Radio what she’d like to do while helping lead the Chamber.

“The main focus that we have for 2024 is growing and supporting the small businesses. And what that really means to me was ‘Why would any business want to join the Chamber?’ I’m trying to bring more awareness to that question, and a solution.”

Witte mentions that to do this, the Chamber is looking at revamping membership benefits to try and increase the number of Chamber members. She also reminds Stuart Community members that you don’t need to be a business to be a member, but can also join as an individual.
