
Greene County High School boys’ basketball awards were presented yesterday. Head coach Chris Nelson’s team was 2-20 overall and 1-13 in Heart of Iowa Activities Conference play.
Seniors captured three of the more prestigious awards with MVP honors going to Brynley Ruzicka, Gabe Ebersole the Offensive Player of the Year, and Nathan Behne the Defensive Player of the Year. Sophomore Nathan Towers was named Most Improved
Letter winners were the four players above, plus seniors Trey Schilling and German foreign exchange student Alexander Rall, along with juniors Isaac Carman, Camden Jacobs, and Caden Mc C0llom. Other sophomores lettering were Nick Madsen, Broc Stream, Teagan Chisholm, Rafe Michaelsen, and Isaac Karber.
