
Friday, March 1st
6:53am: Wesley Hendrickson reported the Theft of his wallet from an unlocked vehicle in the 400 Block of South Locust Street.
8:20am: A Traffic Stop in the 1900 Block of North Grimmell Road resulted in Brayton Crouse of Dana being cited for, “Dark Windows.”
8:33am: The Greene County High School requested an officer at 1901 North Grimmell Road for a fight between students. The officer spoke to school officials, the two juveniles involved and their parents. All felt the incident was best handled through the school, not criminal charges.
9:49am: Kyle Youngblood reported debris on the overpass from a blown tire. The officer removed the debris from the roadway.
1:40pm: An officer spoke to a resident in the 1400 Block of Southfield Drive about feeding stray cats. The neighboring properties have complained about the issues involved with feeding the strays. The resident advised they would end the practice.
2:53pm: Chad Sloan reported his dog, which was tied up, was attacked by two stray dogs. His animal was taken to the vet for treatment on the wounds. The officer and two deputies chased the dogs in the southern part of Jefferson, but did not catch them. The animal’s owner arrived and caught the two dogs. The animals were deemed “Illegal” according to ordinances and had to leave the city limits.
5:31pm: A caller advised of a Careless Driver on 220th Street, heading eastbound. The officer did not locate the reported vehicle.
6:10pm: The Wild Rose Casino requested an officer at 777 Wild Rose Lane for a person on the Gaming Floor, who had self-banned himself. Richard Edward Larabee was issued a Summons to Appear on, “Trespass – Simple.”
Saturday, March 2nd
8:20am: An officer assisted the GC Ambulance with a Medic Alert Alarm at 1000 West Washington Street.
2:50pm: An officer arrested Jodi Ann Ganoe, 49 of Jefferson on an Outstanding Jefferson PD Arrest Warrant in the 200 Block of East Perry Street. The warrant was for, “Violation of Protective Order.” Ganoe resisted the officer and was also charged with, “Interference with Official Acts – Simple.”
3:46pm: A caller advised of Loud Music near Grimmell and Lincoln Way Streets. The officer did not locate anything in the area.
4:25pm: An officer removed debris from the roadway near 220th and Elm Streets.
5:13pm: An officer assisted the GC Ambulance with a Medical Call in the 700 Block of West Sunset Road.
6:11pm: Timothy Ray reported a suspected Intoxicated Male walking on 220th Street, near Sparky’s One Stop. The officer’s investigation led to the arrest of Lewis Delbert Randolf, 52 of Jefferson for, “Public Intoxication – Simple.”
9:07pm: A Traffic Stop near Elm and 250th Street resulted in Nickalus Madsen of Jefferson being cited for, “Excessive Speed.”
Sunday, March 3rd
2:00am: A Traffic Stop in the 1500 Block of North Mulberry Street resulted in Evan Koster of Carroll being cited for, “Excessive Speed.”
10:32am: A Traffic Stop near 220th and Grimmell Road resulted in Patience Smith of UT. being cited for, “Excessive Speed.”
10:49am: A Traffic Stop was performed near Westwood and Briarwood on a speeding vehicle. Brooklyn Renshaw of Scranton was issued a citation for, “Excessive Speed.” During the stop, the officer could smell the odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle. During a Probable Cause Search of the vehicle a smoking device and plant marijuana were located. Charges of Possession of Controlled Substance 1st Offense/marijuana- Serious and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia – Simple were sent to the Juvenile Court for a 17year-old male from Coon Rapids.
1:07pm: Angela Murphy was cited for, “Animal at Large” after neighbors reported her animal was loose.
4:12pm: An officer assisted the Jefferson Fire Department with a call at 301 West Greenewood Road. Food had been forgotten in an oven, causing heavy smoke throughout the building. No fire had occurred.
