We continue our review of the AC/GC Chargers boys and girls basketball teams statistics for the 2023-24 season.

For the girls, senior Kelsey Carlson started in all 22 of the team’s games, going 89 of 253 for 35.2% from the field, 49 of 154 on 3 pointers for 31.8% from beyond the arch and an effective field goal percentage of 44.9%, along with making 14 of 30 free throws for 46.7% for the charity stripe. She also recorded 28 offensive and 15 defensive rebounds for a total of 43, 44 assists, 98 steals, 3 blocks and 241 points. Carlson moved to 8th on the all time scoring list, with 413 points, 8th on the all time assists leaders list with 68, 2nd on the all time steals list with 167, and set the steals in a game record with 12.

For the boys, senior Anthony Solorzano started in 22 of the team’s 23 games, going 61 of 200 for 30.5% from the field, 34 of 126 on 3 pointers for 27% from beyond the arch for an effective field goal percentage of 39%, and 23 of 30 on free throws for 76.7% from the charity stripe. He also recorded 23 offensive and 25 defensive rebounds for 48 total, 56 assists, 39 steals 3 blocks and 179 points.
