Although the Panorama Panthers fell to the Dike-New Hartford Wolverines in the Class 2A State Basketball Championship match up Jaidyn Sellers of the Panorama Panthers played her heart out against the Wolverines, leading the Panthers in points and rebounds scoring 20 points with 9 rebounds. During the 3 games that the Panthers played at the State Tournament, Sellers scored at least 9 points per game and had at least 9 rebounds per game. When asked about Sellers performance at the tournament, Coach Boettcher said, “the top producer award, it just goes to that one athlete that just shines all week and you know, just produces for their team in so many ways and Jaidyn received that. She is the only one in the state tournament to receive this award and not win the state tournament.”
This award shows how dedicated the Panorama Panthers girls basketball team was this season, and highlights Jaidyn Sellers for her amazing performance throughout the basketball season and especially at the 2024 Girls State Basketball tournament.
