The Perry Public Library is holding a family activity next week for Spring Break, but registration ends tomorrow.

The library’s program titled “Family Peep Diorama Decorating Contest” will start March 9th, allowing families to design a diorama related to their favorite children’s book. Perry Youth Services Librarian Laura Pieper describes the timeline of the contest.

“Kits will be handed out on Friday, March 9th and you have all during spring break until Monday, March 18th to decorate your dioramas, and they’ll be on display to judge March 18th through April 1st. We’ll announce two winners, Best in Show, which will be determined by a panel of judges. And people’s…Peepoles choice will be determined by our patrons.”

Pieper highlights that this is the second year that the library is hosting a decorating contest as last year’s theme was making a vacation gingerbread house. There are a limited amount of supplies with registration ending tomorrow. To register, visit https://perry-ia.whofi.com/calendar/event/5234643 or call the library at (515)-465-3569.
