
Junior London Warmuth, of Adel-DeSoto-Minburn’s Track & Field Team, captured a huge win at the Dickinson Relays to begin the 2024 season.
Warmuth won the Girls High Jump in the first meet of the season in Cedar Falls on Tuesday. She won the event, jumping 5 feet, 6 inches. She edged out both Charles City’s Keely Collins and Indianola’s Madison Grover.
The 4×800 team finished sixth with a time of 10 minutes 25 seconds, the 4×200 meter team was third at 1:47.36, and the 4×400 meters finished fourth, running 4:13.32. Junior Jada Grove was fifth in the 60 meter sprints, while Junior Calli Seehase was 16th. Grove was also second in the 200 meters at 26.59, and Junior Aniston Tollari finished third in the long jump.
The Tigers will be back in action tomorrow at the Lied Recreation Athletic Center in Ames, starting at 3:15pm. The full results from the Dickinson Relays are available here.
