Thursday, March 7th

8:10am: A Traffic Stop near Grimmell and Wall Streets resulted in Gabe Ebersole of Jefferson being cited for, “Dark Windows.”

9:17am: Paul Costello advised he had backed into a vehicle in the 500 block of West Monroe Street. Costello had been backing in the 200 Block of South Pinet Street, backing into his drive, when he struck a parked vehicle. The 2011 Ford Focus was owned by Dakota Sowers of Guthrie Center. The Sowers’ vehicle had a reported $1500.00 in damages. Costello’s 2017 Nissan Titan also had $1500.00 in damages. Costello was cited for, “Unsafe Backing Upon a highway.

9:41am: Melissa Larson reported a Burglary had occurred at 609 South Olive Street. Her purse was missing and her Debit card had been used in Jefferson, Grand Junction, and Ames. The officer is investigating.

2:58pm: An officer spoke to the owner of a trailer, which had been parked in the 600 Block of West Lincoln Way Street for several days. The officer advised the ordinance only allows for two hour parking of a trailer on the street. The trailer was removed.

3:55pm: An officer followed a subject into the Dollar General Parking lot at 104 North Locust Street. Candi Joelle Wenger was issued a citation for, “No Valid Driver’s License.”

9:13pm: Forest Shady reported the smell of burning plastic in the 400 Block of Rushview Drive. The officer did not locate the source of the smell.
