We continue our review of the AC/GC Chargers boys and girls basketball teams statistics for the 2023-24 season.

For the girls, senior Reagan Carney started in all 22 of the team’s games, making 51 of 142 shots from the floor for a field goal percentage of 35.9%, 4 of 18 shots from beyond the arch for a 3 point percentage of 22.2% and an effective field goal percentage of 37.3%, and made 24 of 31 free throws to go 77.4% from the charity stripe. She also recorded 37 offensive and 71 defensive rebounds for a total of 108, 28 assists, 46 steals, 5 blocks and 130 points.

Carney also took 4th on the all time scorers list with 454 points, 2nd on the all time rebounds list with 334, 6th on the all time assist leaders list with 88, 4th on the all time steals list with 150. She also was named as an All Conference Honorable Mention, “You Can” Award from the Iowa High School Girls Athletic Union after being nominated by her coach, Brad Baudler.

For the boys, senior Carter Neff played in 11 games, going 3 of 10 from the floor for a field goal percentage of 30%, 2 of 9 from beyond the arch for a 3 point percentage of 22.2% and an effective field goal percentage of 40%. He also recorded 3 rebounds and 8 points. Fellow senior Nate Chance played in all 23 of the team’s games and started in 1, making 12 of 27 shots from the floor for a field goal and effective field goal percentage of 44.4%, and 4 of 5 free throws to go 80% at the charity stripe. He also pulled in 12 offensive and 21 defensive rebounds for a total of 33, and recorded 13 assists, 5 steals, 8 blocks and 28 points.
