The latest report from the U.S. Drought Monitor, released on March 5th, shows more of the same in the Raccoon Valley Radio area.

According to the Drought Monitor, not much has changed since the last report as Dallas, Greene, and Guthrie Counties all remain in the severe drought category. The National Weather Service summarizes that the City of Perry accumulated 0.05 inches of rain this month, while both Guthrie Center and Jefferson show only trace amounts of precipitation for the month of March so far.
