The Perry Library has many fun events planned this week for Spring Break, with Barbie’s Birthday Party tomorrow.

Perry Youth Services Librarian Laura Pieper tells Raccoon Valley Radio that Barbie’s 65th birthday is tomorrow and that they have a special themed event to coincide. She details that the festivities begin in the morning for kids 4-10 years old and will feature an animated Barbie movie. Then in the afternoon, from 1-2pm, toddlers up to teens are invited for cupcakes and photo opportunities. Pieper encourages kids to dress up.

“They can dress up like Barbie. Superhero Barbie, Doctor Barbie, any Barbie you want. And then we will have live action movie, the PG13 one, from 3-5pm that evening.”
