The Adel-DeSoto-Minburn Girls Golf team is prepping for the 2024 season, which gets underway next month.
As ADM is currently on spring break, most of the golfers are on vacation, and will be back to practice next week. The Tigers finished the 2023 season with a record of 34-10 overall (31-9 in the Raccoon River Conference). They placed first in the ADM Triangular, the WG Girls Invitational, Ogden Golf Meet, and a meet with Bondurant and Carroll. Head Coach Dana Brown tells Raccoon Valley Radio what she implements for heading into golf meets.
“I like our ADM team to show up to meets prepared, that’s one of my big ones for the girls. We spend a lot of time just learning rules of golf.”
Brown says she looks to her seniors on the team to be leaders on the course. The first meet for the Tigers is April 4th at the River Valley Golf Course in Adel at 4pm.
