Dallas Center – Grimes girls soccer will be continuing on with their first week of practice today as they take advantage of quality weather, as the team gears up for the 2024 season.

DCG won the state title in 2022 completing an undefeated record at 22-0, and then followed it up last year with a 18-3 record last year that also included a state championship. DCG was able to win the Little Hawkeye Conference during the that stretch as well.

The Mustangs will be bringing back some big pieces from those teams, including Alex Hofbauer, Olivia Cyr, Neela Williamson, Kalyn Mills, Addy Janssen, Kylie Knief, Alexa Gill, Ella Forysth, and Hannah Renz amongst other key players as well.

The first game of the season will be happening on March 25th at Johnston, as the Mustang team will be looking for another major season and eyes on trying to put themselves in position to win another state championship.
