Head Coach Gary Overla is excited with the returners he has back from last year’s final 8 squad.  Below are key players set to compete this year for the Bluejays:

Omar Jaimes Midfielder “Very tenacious” “Strong player in the midfield” 11 points played 16 games.

Jonathan Barrios-Munoz Defender “Very good player” Hampered by injuries last year started 13 of 15 played.

Israel Soto-Rojas Defender “Utility player” Started 13 of 14 as a freshman.

Jacobo Cerna-Gomez Forward “Tremendous athlete” 25 points 12 goals in 10 games

Sergio Sanchez “Dynamic player” 18 points in 18 games, team high 94 shots.

Luis Castro Goalie “Fantastic goalie” Save % of 75.4.

Jonatan Banuelos Midfielder  “Attacking midfielder” 22 points and 9 goals in 17 games, started 16.

The season begins of March 30th in the Des Moines Hoover tournament.
