Now that spring break has come to an end for the Wildcats at West Central Valley, head coach Christina Smith and the Wildcat girls soccer team prepare to knock the dust off and prepare for a scrimmage against Greene County on Friday. Coach Smith commented that she does not know too much about the Greene County girls soccer program, but is excited for the scrimmage opportunity as it gives the Wildcat girls an opportunity to try different positions before the season truly begins. Coach Smith said, “I actually don’t know a lot about Greene County but it’ll be nice for us to have a scrimmage to kind of get back in the game mode and get ready for the rest of the season so it’ll be nice for our girls to have a nice scrimmage for an opportunity for that.”
