Perry has put some high expectations on this upcoming golf season.  Coach Kingsley is looking forward to the leadership with the returners.  “I think they are just big leaders.  I know they play really well and under pressure.”  Grace Garrett, Addison Huntington, Jenna Nelson, Alexa Nelson, Zoey Vail, and Kaylee Wuebker all return to the roster for their final year of competition.  Huntington and Vail have the most experience under their belts participating in 10 events each as juniors.  Huntington is set up to be the number one for the Jayettes this year.  Coach Kingsley notes tempo is a key to her game.

Six girls compete in each event and that lines up nicely for the returners for Perry.  Coach Kingsley would still like to see some pressure put on by the underclassman.  “I’m really hoping that some of those newer ones step up as well.  Maybe make these returning seniors play a little bit harder and put up lower scores.”

The season begins on April 2nd at the Perry Country Club.
