Mass of Christian Burial for Marie Johanna Ertz, age 101, of Glidden, will be celebrated at 10:30 A.M. on Saturday, March 23, 2024 at St. Elizabeth Seton Catholic Church in Glidden.  Burial will be in the Merle Hay Memorial Cemetery near Glidden.

A Rosary will be held at the Dahn and Woodhouse Funeral Home in Glidden at 5:00 P.M. on Friday followed by visitation from 5:30 – 7:00 P.M.  The casket will be moved to St. Elizabeth Seton Church at 9:30 A.M. on Saturday where visitation will resume until 10:15 A.M. prior to the Mass.

Marie is survived by her four children and their families: Jeanine Kurth of Lake View, Dave Ertz of Estherville, Joy Esterbrooks (Dennis) of Omaha, and Dean Ertz (Laura) of Boone; thirteen grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren; and one great great-granddaughter; a sister Florence Thelen of Atlantic, and several nieces and nephews.
