Dallas Center – Grimes boys track and field are off to a quality start in their 2024 season, and will be looking to build upon it more once they get back on the track next week. The Mustangs competed in a couple of indoor meets before spring break and were able to find some really nice results.

Elias Arbuckle was able to finish 7th in the 3200 meter run, and Aidan Charlson was able to finish 4th in the shot put. The boys 4A shuttle team was able to grab a 7th place finish, and the boys 4×800 meter relay team was able to grab a 5th place finish. All of the events for these athletes took place at the 4A level.

DCG will be back on the track and field grind next Thursday with a meet in Waukee against multiple teams.
