Practicing against yourself can get old in any sport. Perry will get there first look at a new team today as they take the pitch for a scrimmage. Today the Jayettes will be in Panora to take on the Panorama Panthers. The scrimmage is scheduled for 5 PM. The threat of bad weather on Saturday forced the scrimmage to be pushed up one day.
Perry is looking to build off a 6-11 season last year. Panorama has won at least 10 games in every season since they launched the program in 2018 and last year they won 13. These schools have history. Before Panorama started a girls program in 2018 they had a sharing agreement with Perry.
The Jayettes will start the regular season on Monday, March 25th against Des Moines Christian and Panorama will host Harlan Community on the same day.
