Everyone is invited to watch the upcoming production of the Community Players of Greene County.

Co-Director Josh Tuel says “The Nerd”  by Larry Shue is set in Terre Haute, Indiana and it’s about an architect that is struggling through life. Then a fellow military veteran shows up into his life and turns it upside down, and there is a twist that is unexpected. Tuel explains why he wanted to do this kind of show.

“‘The Nerd’ is honestly one of my favorite comedies of all time. I was actually introduced to the show in the fall of 1993. When I was a student at then Jefferson-Scranton High School, I played the role of Willum Cupboard. And after that I’ve done the show, this will be my fifth time. Been in it twice, directed it twice, and now this time I’m kind of doing both.”

The performances are Friday and Saturday at 7pm and Sunday at 2pm at the Greene County High School Auditorium. Tickets are $10 per person and can be purchased at any of the local banks or at the door.
