One non-profit organization in Greene County has ended its registration period for its upcoming fundraising event this Saturday, but there are other ways the public can contribute.

The Bringing Optimism and Opportunities to Students and Teachers, (BOOST) provides funding to teachers and staff of the Greene County School District and their silent auction is happening this week. BOOST Board member Matt Wetrich says this year’s silent auction is shaping up to be one of the best.

“We’ve got a lot of fun items on there this year,  a couple you might recognize from the past but a lot of new things as well. So really probably one of our, gosh seeing what we’ve got it’s one of the nicer, overall silent auctions we’ve had. I think there’s some really lot fun stuff on there that I think will garnish some nice bids.”   

The silent auction will remain open until the event on Saturday at Clover Hall on the Greene County Fairgrounds at 8pm. Click the link below to register for the silent auction.
