The Mary J Barnett Memorial Library was recently able to bring in their new telescope.

The telescope was given to the library after they were named as one of 50 to receive one from the Omaha Astronomical Society. The library will have the telescope available for check out, which will allow those interested to borrow it and learn or further a passion for astronomy. Library Director Jerri Hawkins says that there will also be a guide with tips and some videos that can be checked out to help those that do check out the telescope to learn how to use it correctly.
