The application deadline for the Raccoon Valley Radio Scholarship Award ends in a few days.

The company is offering two $300 Business and Broadcasting Scholarships going to an Iowa high school graduating senior pursuing a degree in business or communications at either a two-year community college or a four-year university. RVR General Manager John McGee highlights when the final day is to submit an application.

“Our business and broadcast scholarship is coming up here on April 7th. We encourage everybody to get their applications in for that, it’s a great way to give back.”

The application contains sections of a student profile, high school information, and work-related experience. The scholarship is sponsored by KDLS, KGRA, and KKRF radio stations. A reminder that the deadline is this Sunday to anyone of the three stations in Perry, Jefferson or Stuart.
