There is an annual event coming up in Perry at St. Patrick’s Catholic School next Saturday, April 13th.

According to the school, their third annual parish and school auction includes a pasta dinner by Hotel Pattee plus live entertainment by the band Rukkus. St. Patrick’s Catholic School Principal Kandice Pattillo tells Raccoon Valley Radio that many items have already been dropped off to auction off on April 13th. She details the amount of money that was raised during the first two years of the gala.

“Our first year hosting it here at the school, we had kind of our record breaking year, one of the best years for this event that we kind of want to top and we raised over $40,000 for us in that one evening, and that money last year, we raised right around 30,000 (dollars), so quite not the year before, but our goal is to top that one from two years ago, and hit 40,000 (dollars) with some big donors.”

The event will be held next Saturday, April 13th at St. Patrick’s Catholic School, 1302 5th Street, in Perry, beginning at 5pm. Tickets cost $40 and can be purchased at the door.
