The City of Adel will hold their city council meeting tomorrow, with a school resource officer program for Adel-DeSoto-Minburn School District as part of the topics.

The council will consider approving a 28E agreement with ADM for officer program. Other items on the agenda seeking approval include the final agreement for fiscal year 2024-2025 wages between the City of Adel, Adel Police Department, and Teamsters Local Union 238. Also, the fiscal year 2024-2025 non-union city employee wages, one opening for a historic preservation commission, and construction bids for the bridge replacement for the Evans Park Trail Connections project.

In addition, the council will consider making award of construction contract for the Evans Park project, establishing sewer rates for customers outside the city limits, annual cost with Tyler Technologies, setting a public hearing for fiscal year 2023-2024 budget amendments, and a possible annexation progress update.

The meeting will be held tomorrow evening at 6pm at Adel City Hall, 301 South 10th Street.
