The Stuart Public Library has some fun events planned for this month.
Librarian Rachel Majerus says that the library has their usual monthly events, along with some fun special programs. She mentions that they will have a rain barrel workshop on Saturday, with one beginning at 9am and another starting at 10:30am. Majerus tells Raccoon Valley Radio that they also have an event planned to celebrate the People Active for Library Service.
“And our PALS, our Friends of the Library program called PALS, these are our volunteers. We are going to have an appreciation luncheon for those that are PALS. We’re going to have that on April 22nd at noon. So if you happen to be a PALS member, or are considering being a PALS member, we encourage you to sign up, and the librarians are just wanting to say ‘thank you’ with the luncheon.”
Majerus explains there will also be walk-in interviews for Kwik Star on April 18th and a plant swap on April 27th, with both to begin at 10am.
