The Adel-DeSoto-Minburn Boys Track & Field team ran in Ames on Tuesday, capturing a second place finish.

The Tigers gathered 152 points, second to the Cougars of Cedar Rapids Kennedy who had 158. Starting with relays, ADM won a close race in the 4×200, finishing with a time of 1:30.01, while CR Kennedy was second with a 1:31.86. The Tigers were second in the 4×100 and the 4×400, and third in the 4×800 and the 4×110 meter shuttle hurdles.

Senior Brevin Doll won the 100 meter dash running 11 seconds, and also won the 200 at 22 seconds and Senior Aiden Flora was in second (22.39) in the 200, Junior Braden Rynearson (53.15) and Freshman Brayden Davison (53.81) were fourth and fifth in the 400 meters, Junior Keaton Kier won the 400 meters hurdles at 57.34, and it was Senior Zach Lohmann in second in the 110 meters hurdles (15.22).

For the field events, Senior Tyler Gelhaar was third in the long jump (20-07.50), Junior Kyler Chapman (6-02.00) and Junior Will Grasty (6-00.00) went one-two in the high jump, Senior Drew Hickey won the shot put (52-08.50) and the discus (156-00) with Senior Ryan Entriken (132-02) finishing third.

The next meet for ADM is today at 4:30pm in Adel as they invite seven teams into town.
