After a conversation with West Central Valley boys soccer coach John Boss, coach Boss enlightened us on what makes his Wildcat soccer team so dominant on the defensive side of the ball. The Wildcats boys have found nothing but success so far this season out on the pitch, keeping a perfect season alive 5 games into the season and in an impressive fashion, the Wildcats have shut out 4 of their competitors so far, only allowing one goal so far this season to the Underwood Eagles, who the Wildcats defeated 3-1. When asked about what makes his defense so dominant, coach Boss stated, “what we try and do is just make sure that we are all on the same conversation on what we need to do as a team. The biggest thing, and I think any of our staff and any of our players would tell you is that we put a lot of emphasis, in defending making sure all of us are good defenders not just the people that label themselves as a defender.”

With this attitude and the momentum riding high in the Wildcats favor, the Wildcats hope to keep their perfect season alive as they host Tri Center tomorrow with the match beginning at 6PM.
