The Guthrie County Iowa State University Extension and Outreach is ready for Iowa Extension Week.

Program Director Meghan McBride says that the office will be out and about in different communities during the week to celebrate with the residents of Guthrie County. She says that they will be at a different coffee shop Monday through Thursday to purchase coffee for anyone that comes in, and just be able to be out in the community to see and talk to everyone that wants to.

McBride mentions that on Monday, the Extension will be at B&B Marketplace in Panora from 8-11am, then at the Mary J Barnett Memorial Library from 3:30-4:30pm. Extension Youth Coordinator Rachel Blum says that for Tuesday, Extension staff members will be in Coon Rapids at Jenna’s Tattooed Confections from 8-11am, and on Wednesday they will be at Crafty’s Coffee and Gifts in Panora from 8-11am, then at the Bayard Public Library beginning at 2:30pm. She adds that for April 18th, they will be at the Casey Creamery in Casey from 8-11am. Both McBride and Blum are excited to meet everyone that comes in, and celebrate the Extension with them.
