Friday, April 12th

12:47am: A deputy investigated a domestic in the 800 block of Percival Street, Grand Junction.

8:45am: Phillip Amos 50 of Jefferson was booked into the jail for possession of drug paraphernalia, unlawful possession of prescription drugs, possession of a controlled substance 1st offense, controlled substance violation, failure to affix tax stamp, keeping premises or vehicle for controlled substance violation.

1:37pm: A deputy investigated a suspicious vehicle in the 1500 block of W Avenue.

2:49pm: A deputy assisted with a medical issue in the 800 block of 320th Street.

4:04pm: A deputy attempted to find two dogs running at large on 305th near Quest Avenue.

5:39pm: A deputy investigated a trespass complaint in the 500 block of 3rd Street, Rippey.

5:42pm: Deputies assisted the Carroll County Sheriff’s Office with a medical call in the 500 block of Montana Street, Glidden.

Saturday, April 13th

4:38am: A deputy investigated a suspicious vehicle in the 200 block of Gallup Road. Kristin Johannesen 34 of Arizona was arrested for possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia.

8:10am: Kristin Johannesen 34 of Arizona was booked into the jail for possession of a controlled substance 1st offense and possession of drug paraphernalia.

11:10am: A deputy, Jefferson Fire Department, and Scranton Fire responded to a controlled burn that got into some buildings on L Avenue near 220th Street.

12:17pm: A deputy investigated a careless driving complaint around Scranton.

2:57 pm a deputy assisted with a civil issue in the 2200 block of R Avenue.

3:10pm: Jane Ham 74 of Boone was booked into the jail for public intoxication.

3:27pm: A deputy investigated a complaint of dogs running at large in the 2200 block of 240th Street.

8:13pm: A deputy investigated a driving complaint in the 900 block of Cedar Street, Scranton.

8:31pm: A deputy investigated a car deer accident on 220th Street near L Avenue. Michael Coffin 31 of Jefferson struck a deer with a 2021 Dodge Rebel. The estimated damage to the vehicle is 2,000 dollars.

Sunday, April 14th

2:05am: A deputy and Greene County Ambulance responded to a single vehicle rollover accident in the 1400 block of 130th Street. Shannon Hardie 29 of Dayton lost control of a 2016 Nissan Altima rolling the vehicle in the ditch and striking a fence. The estimated damage to the car is 16,000 dollars. The estimated damage to the fence is 1,000 dollars. The driver was transported by Greene County Ambulance to the Fort Dodge ER. Hardie was cited for failure to maintain control and no insurance.

10:31am: A deputy investigated an aggressive dog complaint in the 100 block of Percival Street, Rippey.

11:39am: A deputy investigated a hit and run accident in the 2100 block of B Avenue. A farm implement had struck a parked car causing an estimated 750 dollars in damage.

7:41pm: The Sheriff, deputies, Jefferson Fire, and Region 5 Hazmat responded to a semi that rolled into the ditch on 310th Street near Brentwood Avenue. The semi was hauling liquid 37% nitrogen. The container had broken in the accident and spilled 900 gallons into the ditch. Marco Gernandt 36 of Coon Rapids lost control of the 2000 Kenworth and trailer. The Kenworth was a total loss. The estimated damage is 50,000 dollars.

In all cases when a defendant has been charged, this is merely an accusation, and all defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
