The Stuart American Legion is holding their annual fish fry on Wednesday,

Post Commander Chuck Avey says that this year the meal will be from 5-7pm at the Stuart American Legion Building. He adds that the menu includes cod fish, baked beans, a roll with butter, pasta salad and many dessert options prepared by Auxiliary members. The Legion currently has a few project they’re working on at their skating rink, including an update for the heating and cooling system, and all proceeds from the event will go towards those projects and daily operations for the rink.

Meal prices are $10 for adults, $9 if you bring a canned food item for the food pantry, and $6 for children 12 years old and younger, with an extra piece of fish adding another $5 to any meal. Deliveries are available as well, with orders needing to be placed before 4:30pm, and they will be made after 6pm. Delivery orders can be placed by calling 515-523-1666 or 641-740-0341.
