The Dallas County Board of Supervisors voted on exterior designs for the new administration building in Adel at Tuesday’s meeting.

At a previous meeting Kristofer Orth, of Farnsworth Group, presented the board with some exterior designs with lighting options and an amount of signage around the building. The board made a decision to put white lighting on the roof along the outside of the building plus put the address of 800 Court Street on the west side and “Dallas County Administration Building” on the east side. 

Other items on the agenda that were approved include the criminal management at risk request for qualifications as presented, multiple projects from the Secondary Roads Department with the County R22 paving project, and four box culvert projects at B Avenue, Beaumont Avenue, R Avenue, and Zook Spur Place. The other item that was approved was a resolution for the abated real estate taxes.
