The Perry Boys Soccer team is in a great groove as they’ve won their last five games.

The latest game for the Bluejays was on the road against Marshalltown on Monday. Perry led 4-0 at the break, then scored three more in the second to race to a 7-2 victory. Bluejays Sophomore Jacobo Cerna-Gomez scored two goals and had three assists. Senior Goalie Luis Castro had seven saves for 77.8%.

Prior to Monday’s game, Perry beat Winterset, Albia, North Polk, and PCM. The next game for the Bluejays is a home game tomorrow versus Central Iowa United at 7:15pm.
