The Adel-DeSoto-Minburn Girls Track & Field team capture the top spot in their home meet on Tuesday.

The Tigers scored a total of 192 points in a field of eight teams. Starting in the relays, ADM placed second in the 4×100 meters, 4×200, 4×400, 4×800, the 800 and 1600 medley, and the 4×100 meter shuttle hurdle relay.

For individual events, Junior Jada Grove finished first in the 100 meter dash (13.06), while Sophomore Peyton Standley was fifth (13.62). Standley was also seventh in the 200 (28.63) and Sophomore Madelyn Roundcount tallied sixth (28.61). Senior Makayla Crannell returned to action after missing extensive time due to a tear in her Posterior Cruciate Ligament (PCL) back on March 5th. Crannell ran and placed third in the 400 meter dash.

In the 1500 meters, Freshman Cora Shirley-Brown finished sixth with a 5:16 and Freshman Allie Eggleston was eighth (5:25). Sophomore Elise Coghlan won the 100 meter hurdles (16.68) and Sophomore Haley Nelson was fourth (17.73). Coghlan racked up second in the 400 meter hurdles (1:08.94) with Junior Madi James won the event (1:07.75).

In the field events, Junior Aniston Tollari (16-10-.50) and Junior Calli Seehase (16-04.25) went one-two in the long jump. Junior London Warmuth (5-03) and Madelyn Roundcount (4-10) finished first and second in the high jump. The shot put saw Junior Kennedy Stanford capture first place at 39-07 and Sophomore Lauren Hagedorn (129-04) came away a winner in the discus.

ADM will be competing this evening, starting at 4:15pm, at Carlisle High School against 12 other teams.
