Multiple teams and athletes are participating in various activities today for Dallas Center – Grimes Mustangs athletics, and they will be looking for some good results across the board.

Boys and girls track and field will be participating in day 1 of 3 for the Drake Relays in Des Moines, as they will be looking for some strong numbers for various relay teams and athletes. Raccoon Valley Radio’s Doug Rieder will be providing updates from the Blue Oval throughout the day. That event will be all day.

Boys and girls tennis are on the hunt for wins against Indianola, as they continue to navigate the tricky Little Hawkeye Conference. The matches will start for both programs at 4:15, with the girls on the road and the boys at home.

Girls varsity golf will be in an all day tournament against multiple schools at American Legion Golf Course in Marshalltown. That event will begin at 10 am.

Boys soccer will be playing in non-conference play tonight against Urbandale. That event is slated to begin at 7:30.

DCG will be looking for great success today, as they hope to find a lot of wins for their programs.
