
Monday, April 22nd
7:37am: Stephanie Eliserio of Jefferson reported a vehicle on the side of the road in the 1900 block of North Wilson Avenue. The Officer checked on the vehicle’s driver and found they were asleep. The driver had become overtired and pulled to the side of the road to rest.
9:06am: Annalee Snizek of Jefferson requested a welfare check on a family member in the 1000 block of West Adams Street. The Officer performed the check and found no assistance was needed.
11:34am: An Officer performed a traffic stop near the intersection of West Washington Street and North Elm Street. As a result of the traffic stop, Lisa Kuhl of Jefferson was issued a citation for “Operating a Non-Registered Vehicle”.
3:23pm: While on patrol an Officer located several pieces of lumber in the roadway near the intersection of North Elm Street / American Avenue. The Officer removed the debris and disposed of it.
4:19pm: An Officer arrested Jason Sheldahl for an active Greene County Arrest Warrant for the original charges of “Possession of a Controlled Substance – 3rd Offense” and “Possession of Drug Paraphernalia”.
Tuesday, April 23rd
12:44pm: An Officer performed a traffic stop near the intersection of North Elm Street and 220th Street. As a result of the traffic stop, Eilene Mathers of Jefferson was issued a citation for “Operating a Non-Registered Vehicle”.
2:18pm: In relation to a traffic related investigation a juvenile male was charged with “No Valid Driver’s License” and “Interference with Official Acts”
5:05pm: Employees with Bomgaars, 205 West McKinley Street reported having found a wallet on the property. The Officer responded and the wallet was returned to its rightful owner.
6:25pm: Sarah Ratliff of Jefferson reported a purple PT Cruiser being operated in a reckless manner in the 300 block of South Maple Street. The Officer checked the area and did not find the reported vehicle.
9:23pm: An Officer was dispatched to the 300 block of American Avenue for a commercial burglary alarm activation. The Officer responded and found it was a false alarm.
