A private family funeral service for  Russell Luvern Draves, age 87, of Carroll, will be held  at the First Presbyterian Church in Glidden with Rev. Anna Small officiating.  Burial will be in the Merle Hay Memorial Cemetery near Glidden.

Russ is survived by his children and their families: son Kim Draves (Geri) of Halbur, daughter Becky Dillehay (Scott) of Carroll, and daughter Sandi Pietig (Russ) of Carroll; seven grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; a sister Kathryn Hanson of Ellsworth, IA; a sister-in-law Shirley Clark of Independence, IA; a brother-in-law: Duane “Pee Wee” Conner (Joyce) of Glidden; and several nieces and nephews.
