The Perry Chamber of Commerce will be holding its annual dinner on Tuesday, with a couple of awards being presented.

The chamber’s annual dinner is happening Tuesday at La Poste in Perry, beginning at 5:30pm. According to Perry Chamber Director Lynsi Pasutti, two awards for the Business of the Year and Volunteer of the Year will be handed out. Pasutti comments that it is nice to reflect on the great work that has happened over the last year.

“ It is nice to be able to take a moment to think back on our members and the ribbon cutting and the great successes that some of our businesses have seen and then have these two awards to really elevate that.”

Pasutti admits that it was a hard process to narrow the nominees down to three. She states that the businesses nominated include the Dallas County Hospital, Des Moines Area Community College (DMACC) VanKirk Academy and Domino’s Pizza. The three nominees for the Jack Finneseth Memorial Volunteer of the Year are Andrea Brownlee, Travis Landgrebe, and Matt McDevitt. The recipients for each award will be announced during the annual dinner on Tuesday.
