Nominations for the Dallas County Veterans Memorial Wall in Minburn are due by tomorrow.

Vice Commander of the Minburn American Legion Don Richardson tells Raccoon Valley Radio that an additional wing is being added to the memorial wall. He asks residents that have either served the United States or have a family member who has or currently is to be recognized with a personalized brick. Richardson notes that the memorial idea came in 2022 after a resident proposed creating a memorial wall to honor Dallas County veterans. 

The memorial was finished in the summer of 2023 with the dedication held in December. Richardson says the memorial is located in Freedom Rock Park in Minburn and applications are due tomorrow.
