Senior Panorama Panther Jaidyn Sellers had an incredible outing at the Drake Relays last week, participating in the 100 meter dash and in the long jump events. Sellers, who came in as the state leader in the 100 meter dash, was just .07 seconds away from becoming a state champion in the 100 meter dash. In an impressive fashion, Sellers ran a 10.98 100 meter dash, but Tierney Huss of the MOC-Floyd Valley Lady Dutchmen was just .06 seconds faster claiming first place in 12.92 seconds.
However, before claiming 2nd place in the 100 meter dash, Sellers shocked the crowd by claiming a state championship in the high jump event while also achieving a new personal best jumping 5-7 bringing the title home to Panorama.
