
Friday, April 26th
5:30am: Alicia Arnajallum-Ofelt requested an officer at 100 Ram Drive for a civil issue with a vehicle. The officer mediated the issue.
1:55pm: The Lake City Police Department requested an officer to check a Jefferson address for a Wanted Subject. The officer located the subject at 102 ½ North Olive Street. The subject began having a medical issue and was transported to ER by Greene County Ambulance for an evaluation. The subject was later cleared by Medical personnel and arrested as he left ER. Donald S. Fishburn, 52 of Kentucky, had an Outstanding Kentucky Arrest Warrant for, “Absconding Parole Supervision and Leaving the State without Permission.” His original charge was “Larceny.”
10:28pm: Amanda Klassan requested a Welfare Check on a male in the 100 Block of North Olive Street. The officer learned the subject had moved away from Jefferson.
Saturday, April 27th
8:21am: Twyla Lindsey reported a Burglary to a shed on her property at 201 East Perry Street. The door to the shed had been forced open and numerous hand tools were now missing. The officer is investigating.
11:12am: A Traffic Stop near 220th and Mulberry Streets resulted in Shayne Aschinger of Carroll being cited for, “Excessive Speed.”
12:03pm: Hy-Vee reported a Theft at 106 West Washington Street. The officer is investigating.
1:10pm: A Traffic Stop near Lincoln Way and Elm Streets resulted in Carson York of Humbolt being cited for, “Dark Windows.”
2:04pm: Jennifer Marshall reported a young child in the 700 Block of South Locust Street, who appeared to be unsupervised and alone. The officer checked the area, but did not locate anyone.
2:10pm: Callers advised of a Fight in Progress at the Greene County Fairgrounds. The officer was assisted by deputies. The officers spoke to several subjects and arrested Daniel Lee Rosenow, 37 of Jefferson was charged with, “Disorderly Conduct – Simple and Public Intoxication – Simple.”
2:47pm: An alarm Activation came in for 1805 North Elm Street. The building was found to be secure.
7:51pm: A Traffic Stop in the 700 Block of North Elm Street resulted in Christopher Rehbein of Ames being cited for, “Excessive Speed.”
Sunday, April 28th
1:31am: The Wild Rose Casino reported a subject had been ejected and believed to be intoxicated. The subject was driving away from 777 Wild Rose Lane. The officer did not locate the reported vehicle.
10:15am: A Traffic Stop near Elm and State Streets resulted in Thomas Gannon of Rippey being cited for, “Dark Windows.”
10:33am: A Traffic Stop in the 100 Block of West Lincoln Way Street resulted in Nathan Coleman of Grand Junction being cited for, “Operation without Registration.”
2:07pm: A Traffic Stop Near Elm and Head Streets resulted in Zachary Smith of Jefferson being cited for, “Operation without Registration.”
3:47pm: Jenn Ackerson advised of catching a Stray Puppy near Hwy. 4 and 175th Street. An officer placed the dog in the Animal Holding Facility.
4:08pm: An officer investigated an accident in the parking lot of 777 Wild Rose Lane. A 2006 Ford Mustang, owned by Trevor Wishman of Jefferson, was legally parked in the lot. A 2014 Ford Focus, owned and operated by Gregory Gott of Jefferson, struck the Wishman vehicle as he attempted to park in a spot beside it. The Wishman vehicle had a reported $2000.00 in damages. Gott was cited for, “Fail to Provide Proof of Financial Liability – Accident.”
5:57pm: An officer assisted the GC Ambulance with a Medical Call in the 400 Block of Rushview Drive.
6:48pm: A Traffic Stop near 220th and Elm Streets resulted in Heather Pearson of Perry being cited for, “Dark Windows.”
9:07pm: A Traffic Stop in the 1700 Block of North Grimmell Road resulted in Jason Sheldahl of Jefferson being cited for, “Excessive Speed, Driving While Suspended, and Fail to Provide Proof of Financial Liability.”
******* Officers issued (3) Parking Violation Notices for ‘Street Sweeping Violation” during the reporting period.
